This article describes how to send results that are
collected from a FrontPage 2003 Web site form or a Microsoft Office SharePoint Designer 2007 form to multiple e-mail addresses. In
the method that is described in this article, you create two forms and a
confirmation page, and then link the forms together so that they share form
results.
How to create Page1 and Page2 in SharePoint Designer
- Create Page1. To do this, follow these steps:
- Start SharePoint Designer.
- On the File menu, click New, and then click Page.
- In the New page, click General, click
HTML, and then click OK.
- On the File menu, click
Save.
- In the Save As dialog box, specify a
location where you want to save the page, type Page1 in
the File name box, and then click
Save.
- Create Page2. To do this, follow these steps:
- On the File menu, click Save
As.
- In the Save As dialog box, specify a
location where you want to save the page, type Page2 in
the File name box, and then click
Save.
How to create a confirmation page in SharePoint Designer
- On the File menu, click New, and then click Page.
- In the New page, click General, click
HTML, and then click OK.
- Add the text and the Web page elements that you want for
the page.
- On the File menu, click
Save.
- In the Save As dialog box, specify a
location where you want to save the page, type Confirm
in the File name box, and then click
Save.
How to configure the form on Page1 in SharePoint Designer
- Open the Page1.htm file that you created in the
"How to create Page1 and Page2 in SharePoint Designer" section.
- On the Toolbox window, right-click Input (Submit) control under Form controls, and then click Insert.
- Right-click the Submit button on the form,
and then click Form Properties.
- In the Form Properties dialog box, click
Send to (Requires FrontPage Server Extensions).
- In the File name box, type the path and
the file name of the file where you want to send the results.
- In the E-mail address box, type the
e-mail address of the first recipient.
- Click Options.
- In the Saving Results dialog box, follow these steps:
- Click the E-mail Results tab.
- In the E-mail format box, click the
e-mail format that you want.
- Under E-mail message header, type the subject line that you
want in the
Subject line box.
- In the Reply-to-line box, type the
reply-to e-mail address.
- Click the Confirmation Page
tab.
- In the URL of confirmation page
(optional) box, click Browse.
- In the Current Web Site dialog box,
locate and then click the Page2.htm file that you created
in the "How to Create Page1 and Page2 in SharePoint Designer" section, and
then click OK.
- Click OK.
- Click OK.
- On the File menu, click
Save.
How to configure the form on Page2 in SharePoint Designer
- Open the Page2.htm file that you created in the
"How to create Page1 and Page2 in SharePoint Designer" section.
- In the Toolbox window, right-click Input (Submit) control under Form controls, and then click Insert.
- Right-click the Submit button on the form,
and then click Form Properties.
- In the Form Properties dialog box, click

in the "How to create a confirmation page in SharePoint Designer" section, and
then click OK.
- Click OK.
- Click OK.
- On the File menu, click
Save.
How to create Page1 and Page2 in FrontPage
- Create Page1. To do this, follow these steps:
- Start FrontPage.
- On the File menu, point to
New.
- In the New task pane, click
Blank page.
- On the File menu, click
Save.
- In the Save As dialog box, specify a
location where you want to save the page, type Page1 in
the File name box, and then click
Save.
- Create Page2. To do this, follow these steps:
- On the File menu, click Save
As.
- In the Save As dialog box, specify a
location where you want to save the page, type Page2 in
the File name box, and then click
Save.
How to create a confirmation page in FrontPage
- On the File menu, point to
New.
- In the New task pane, click Blank
page.
- Add the text and the Web page elements that you want for
the page.
- On the File menu, click
Save.
- In the Save As dialog box, specify a
location where you want to save the page, type Confirm
in the File name box, and then click
Save.
