FrontPage 2003 Play Sound Feature Requires Internet Explorer 5.0 or Later

Symptoms

When you use Microsoft Office FrontPage 2003, the Play Sound feature (in the Behaviors task pane on the Format menu) plays when you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or later.

Cause

This problem occurs because the Play Sound feature in Front Page 2003 generates a scripting function that is dependent on Internet Explorer 5.0 or later.
Note Not all Web browsers support the functionality that permits you to add sound to a Web site.

To resolve this problem, use Internet Explorer 5.0 or later.
