XCCC: Attachment File Name Extensions Are Not Saved with the File Name in Outlook Web Access

View products that this article applies to.

Symptoms

When you use Microsoft Outlook Web Access (OWA) to view an e-mail message and to try to save a file attachment that has an .exe file name extension or a .dll file name extension to a hard disk on your computer, the file is saved with just the file name. The file name extension is not saved. For example, File_Name.exe is saved as File_Name.
