To resolve this issue, if all the users who you want to
migrate already have existing Windows user accounts:
- Edit the Lotus Notes proxy address of the user in Active
Directory to use the same address as the user in Lotus Notes.
- Remove the NTAccounts parameter from the control file.
- Run Mailmig.exe with /c switch and the control file.
Note When you use this procedure, distribution list (DL) memberships
may not be retained for the users. To prevent users from losing DL membership,
use the Active Directory Cleanup Wizard (ADClean.exe) to merge the Lotus Notes
contact with the user account in Active Directory, and then run Mailmig.exe
with the
/c switch and the control file.
Additionally, note the
following considerations when you use Mailmig.exe with the control file:
- If the ExchStore parameter is not specified in the control file, you must specify
the following parameters:
- Home-Server: The name of the Exchange 2000 server that contains the migrated
mailboxes.
- ExchStore : The name of the Exchange 2000 mailbox database that contains the
migrated mailboxes.
- If Windows accounts and mailboxes already exist for users
who you are migrating, and you do not want to create new mailboxes for your
users during the migration, set the Mailbox parameter to FALSE to import messages to existing mailboxes.
