Style Sheet Formatting Is Not Removed from Web Page in Preview Mode

Symptoms

When you delete a Cascading Style Sheet file (.css) from your Web site, and then click Preview on the Web page that the style sheet was applied to, the style sheet formatting remains.

Note If you view the Web page in Design mode or use the Preview in Browser command on the File menu, the style sheet formatting has been removed.

Cause

This issue occurs because the style sheet formatting is cached during the same session of Office FrontPage 2003.

Workaround

To work around this issue, close your Web site, and then quit Office FrontPage 2003. If you restart Office FrontPage 2003, and then open your Web site, the style sheet formatting has now been removed from the Web page in Preview mode.
