This problem may exist in the following scenario:
1. | You install Exchange Server on a cluster node in an
organization that contains a non-clustered Exchange 2000 server. |
2. | You remove the mailboxes from the clustered Exchange
Server, and then remove the Exchange Virtual Server, also known as a cluster
group, from the cluster node. |
3. | You remove Exchange 2000 Server from the non-clustered
server and remove the organization. |
4. | You try to remove Exchange 2000 Server from the cluster
node. |
When you remove the last Exchange 2000 Server, Setup removes the
organization from the Microsoft Windows 2000 Active Directory and from the
Exchange Administrator. Because of this, you can no longer remove Exchange 2000
Server from the cluster node.
