Implementing public folder permissions to non-Exchange administrators.

By default in Exchange 2003, child public folders inherit the administrative permissions of the parent public folder if the security principals�on those folders are delegated Exchange Administrators.
Administrative permissions are not inherited however if the security principals have not been delegated Exchange permissions with the Delegation Wizard in the Exchange System Manager. In some cases, your organization may require certain users to have administrative permissions on public folders without allowing them to have permissions on other Exchange organizational objects. To work around this,�open Adsiedit.msc and browse to the Exchange organization object under Configuration/Configuration/Services/Microsoft Exchange. Right-Click the Exchange Organization object ( cn=Exchange Org Name). Go to properties. Select the security tab. Add the security group to the list and check the required public folder administrative permissions. Click on the advanced button, locate the security group just added, click on the Edit button and apply the permissions to all child objects.
