Intune: Setting minimum OS enrollment restriction for iOS to version 11.3.1 causes enrollment to fail

Symptom

When Intune enrollment restrictions are set to require a minimum iOS version of 11.3.1, iOS devices running iOS 11.3.1 fail enrollment with the following error:

Cause

This is a known issue with iOS 11.3.1. The issue was addressed in iOS 11.4 so this should be the only version affected.

Resolution

To work around this problem, configure the iOS platform enrollment restriction to 11.3 or later.
