Improvements and fixes

This update includes quality improvements. No new operating system features are being introduced in this update. Key changes include:

  • This build includes all the improvements from KB4338826.
  • Addresses an issue that only affects OEMs when building test images. Several 2013 signing certificates expired in April 2018, and several more will expire in August 2018. You must use the 2017 signing certificates instead. An updated version of the SecureBoot policy component is required and provided in the Windows 10 Mobile (1709) OS kit. You can obtain additional supporting material (including updated WDK scripts) from your Microsoft engineering contacts.

If you installed earlier updates, only the new fixes in this package will be downloaded and installed on your device.

For more information about the resolved security vulnerabilities, see the Security Update Guide.
