RemoteWipe command fails to execute on Windows 10 client with "The request is not supported"

Symptom

When using the RemoteWipe CSP to send a DoWipe command to a Windows 10 computer, the Windows computer shows no sign of wiping the device and an Event ID 400 error is generated in the Microsoft-Windows-DeviceManagement-Enterprise-Diagnostics-Provider/Admin event log with the following error:

Resolution

To resolve this issue, configure AllowUserToResetPhone=1 or do not specify a value for AllowUserToResetPhone. The default value is 1 and will be used automatically unless you set AllowUserToResetPhone=0.

Once this is done, the DoWipe command should complete successfully.
