Symptoms

If you call a Stored Procedure from ADO while using the Microsoft Host Integration Server OLE DB2 Provider for DB2, you may receive a DB_E_BADTYPENAME (0x80040E30) error for the OleDbDataAdapter:Fill method.

Status

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Host Integration Server 2000, Microsoft Host Integration Server 2000, Service Pack 1. This problem was corrected in Microsoft Host Integration Server 2000 Service Pack 2.
