The folder permissions change for Exchange 2000 accounts when you add a delegate to an Outlook 2002 special folder

Symptoms

When you add a delegate to a Microsoft Outlook 2002 special folder, such as a Calendar or an Inbox, the permission setting for the default role changes to the same settings that the anonymous role has, and the anonymous role is removed from the Outlook special folder.

Workaround

To work around this behavior, click the Delivery Options button on the Exchange General tab in Active Directory Users and Computers (ADU&C) to add the delegate in the Send on behalf of section.
