Cause

This problem may occur after you delete a column from the datasheet because the data structure of the datasheet is checked for possible compaction to reduce the memory used. When you delete many columns in quick succession, memory clean up does not occur as expected. The memory manager eventually corrupts the memory heap for Microsoft Graph and causes PowerPoint 2002 to stop responding.
