Summary

BizTalk Server 2002 includes Application Center 2000 Service Pack 1 (SP1), which provides support for the deployment of BizTalk resources with Application Center 2000.

The following BizTalk resources are available with Application Center 2000 SP1:
  • Custom Counters
  • Port Groups
  • Ports
  • Receive Functions
Each deployable resource is associated with one or more item. The table below lists all deployable resources and the items with which these resources can be associated. All items that are associated with a resource are also deployed when the resource is deployed.

For example, if you deploy a BizTalk Port, a BizTalk Organization is also deployed because a BizTalk Port is always associated with a BizTalk Organization.

Custom CountersNo additional items are added

You cannot deploy an item unless it is associated with a resource that is being deployed. For example, to deploy a BizTalk Organization, you have to deploy a Port with which the Organization is associated.

For more information on the various resources, please refer to the BizTalk Server 2002 online documentation.
