FIX: Exception occurs when you run the Invoke-MonitoringProbe cmdlets to set probes for IMAP and POP3 in Exchange Server 2013

Symptoms

When you try to set probes for IMAP and POP3 by running the Invoke-MonitoringProbe cmdlets in a Microsoft Exchange Server 2013 environment, the commands don't run successfully. Additionally, you receive the following exception:

Exception          : System.InvalidOperationException: Unable to initialise TCP Network connection ---> System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: The requested address is not valid in its context 127.0.0.1:0

Cause

This issue occurs because the Endpoint property is not handled correctly for the ProbeDefinition type.

Resolution

To fix this issue, install Cumulative Update 11 for Exchange Server 2013.
