Consider the following scenario in Project Controller in Microsoft Dynamics SL:
When you do this, you notice that the revenue booked to this project is not backed out. Because the project is 0% complete, the expectation is that the revenue would be backed out, and when revenue recognition is set up at the project level, that is what happens.
- You open Project Maintenance (PA.PRJ.00) and create a project with a Rev Rec Type of Percent Complete.
- You post revenue to this project.
- In Percent Complete Maintenance (PA.PCM.00) you set up the project to recognize revenue at the task level.
- You run Revenue Recognition (PA.REV.00) for this project.
