Microsoft Multipath I/O (MPIO) is not supported on either the Hyper-V guest or the Hyper-V host for disks that are exposed as a pass-through to a virtual machine. However, MPIO is supported for disks that are exposed through iSCSI or virtual fiber channel (FC) to a virtual machine. You should not try to multipath disks that share the same hardware ID (combination of vendor ID and product ID) and are concurrently exposed through supported (iSCSI or virtual FC) and unsupported (pass-through) means.
