Additional manageability setting for out-of-date ActiveX control blocking in Internet Explorer

The following is a registry key addition for enterprises to better manage the out-of-date ActiveX control blocking feature. This setting determines whether the out-of-date ActiveX control blocking notification shows the Update button. This button directs users to update specific out-of-date ActiveX controls in Internet Explorer.This setting applies to the August Cumulative security update for Internet Explorer (MS14-051) or later updates.
