More Information

After you install cumulative security update 2969262 , search suggestions from the default search provider are enabled on the address bar in Internet Explorer. However, search suggestions are not enabled in this situation if you disabled them earlier. Search suggestions help you type less when you search from the address bar, and they also help you form better search queries that lead to better search results and faster task completion.

Note The first time that you start Internet Explorer after the security update is installed, you see an upgrade notification page stating that the search suggestions feature was enabled. To turn off search suggestions, click Turn off search suggestions at the bottom of the address bar drop-down list.
