Scheduled Billings and Revenue Entry (BI.SBE.00) calculates an incorrect amount when a schedule is saved

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario in Flexible Billings in Microsoft Dynamics SL:

  • You open Scheduled Billings and Revenue Entry (BI.SBE.00), and you enter a Schedule Amount for a project.
  • You enter several detail lines on the Billing Schedule that include Units, Rate, and Amount.  When you finish entering the detail, you notice that Billings Amount and Schedule Amount are the same.
  • You click Save to save the schedule detail.

In this scenario, you notice that the Billings Amount changes and is not equal to the Schedule Amount any longer.
