More information

In earlier versions of Exchange Server, these properties are set during message delivery and can be retrieved by calling for the specific MAPI property. Because the way that message delivery occurs changes in Exchange 2000, these properties are no longer set, but these properties can be retrieved if necessary by means of a different program interface.

After you apply this fix, you can call for the specific MAPI property in the same manner that you can in earlier versions of Exchange Server.
