Corrects an issue where Serial Numbers are not automatically selected on Shippers when the Issue Method is set to FIFO and Process Manager 40.400.00 creates the Shipper

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario in Microsoft Dynamics SL:

  • You open Inventory Items (10.250.00) and for an inventory item, you set Lot/Serial Tracked to Serial Tracked and set Assignment to When Received into Inventory and Issue Method to FIFO.
  • You enter a receipt for the item and assign serial numbers when the item is received.
  • You open Sales Order (40.100.00) and enter a sales order for the item.
  • You open Shippers (40.110.00), click a detail line, and then click the Bin/Lot/Ser button.

When you do this, you notice that the Lot/Serial Numbers are not filled in and cannot be entered manually in this screen.
