Introduction

This update is available for Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, Windows 7, Windows Embedded Standard 7, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows 8, Windows RT, and Windows Server 2012. It protects an external network from verifying whether a uniform resource identifier (URI) port on an internal network is open or closed. The external network uses a nested S/MIME email message to perform this verification.
