INTRODUCTION

Microsoft Application Virtualization 5.0 (App-V 5.0) Service Pack 1 (SP1) is now available. This service pack provides the latest updates to Microsoft Application Virtualization 5.0. Additionally, this service pack includes some improvements.

How to obtain App-V 5.0 SP1

More Information

App-V 5.0 SP1 contains the following improvements:
  • Additional locales are supported. Specifically, the number of supported client and sequencer locales increases from 5 to 24, and the number of supported server locales increases from 5 to 11.
  • The App-V Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS) Writer feature is supported.
