More Information

High availability (HA) and load balancing (LB) are not features of App-V v5. To implement HA and LB refer to the following article:

970759 - Configuring IIS 7.0 World Wide Web Publishing Service in a Microsoft Windows Server 2008 failover cluster (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/970759http://support.microsoft.com/kb/970759)

The App-V v5 Server architecture is compatible with external HA and LB solutions in that it permits the following:

Multiple App-V v5 Management Servers per management database (behind load balancer)
Multiple App-V v5 Publishing Servers per management server (behind load balancer)
Multiple App-V v5 Reporting Servers per reporting database (behind load balancer)
