An update is available to enable Lync 2010 for iPad and Lync 2010 for iPhone to display the Inactive presence status after 5 minutes in an idle state


Introduction

This article describes an update that enables Microsoft Lync 2010 for iPad and Microsoft Lync 2010 for iPhone to consume the new Inactive token from the Lync Server 2010 Mobility Service. After the update is applied, the presence status is displayed as Inactive when you letthe Lync client spend 5 minutes in an idle state after you set the presence status to Busy.
