A file that you open in Internet Explorer 9 may be deleted when you click Cancel in the Internet Explorer Information bar

Consider that you use Internet Explorer 9 to open a Microsoft Office file. For example, you open a Microsoft Access database, a Microsoft Word document, or a Microsoft Excel workbook. In this scenario, the file�opens in the related application as expected. However, you see that the Information bar of Internet Explorer 9 shows the�Retry or Cancel prompt. If you close the Office application and then click Cancel�on the Information bar, the Office file is deleted unexpectedly.

Note This problem does not occur in earlier versions of Internet Explorer.

To resolve this problem, install this update.
