Dial-in conferencing information is not displayed when a user uses Lync 2010 to join a meeting

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:
  • You deploy the dial-in conferencing capabilities in a Microsoft Lync Server 2010 environment, or in a Microsoft Lync Online environment.
  • You configure the telephony setting of a Lync 2010 user to Audio/Video disabled.
  • The user opens a Microsoft Outlook meeting invitation.
In this scenario, the dial-in conferencing information that contains the dial-in telephone number and the participant code or the conference ID is not displayed.

Cause

This issue occurs because the Online Meeting Add-in for Lync 2010 does not receive the dial-in conferencing information from the conferencing components when the telephony setting for a user is set to Audio/Video disabled.
