INTRODUCTION

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

  • Consider the following scenario:
    • You have an Information Rights Management (IRM) PowerPoint presentation saved in a network share folder.
    • You open the PowerPoint presentation in PowerPoint 2010.
    • The computer is disconnected from the network.
    • You try to use the Save As command to save the PowerPoint presentation to another folder.
    In this scenario, the PowerPoint presentation is not saved. Additionally, you do not receive an error message.
  • After you use a third-party tool to decompress and then compress a .pptx file that contains OLE objects, the OLE objects do not work correctly.
