Summary

You run the setup /forestprep command in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server or in Microsoft Exchange Server 2003. Or, you run the setup /PrepareSchema command or the setup /PrepareAD command in Microsoft Exchange Server 2007. When you do this, the following events are logged in the Microsoft Windows NT Event Viewer:

Class identifier 1057369831 (class name msExchRoutingGroupConnector) has an invalid superclass 1057369828. Inheritance ignored.

Class identifier 1285129064 (class name msExchRecipientPolicy) has an invalid superclass 1285129062. Inheritance ignored.

You may also notice that the class name changes with each entry in the Directory Services event log. The class name is enclosed in parentheses.

More information

This behavior occurs because the schema is imported in an order other than superclass inheritance. When a class is imported, superclass attributes point to other classes. Because these may not have been imported yet, you see these errors in the application event log.

You can safely ignore these errors.
