Symptoms

Test Settings Failed The HTTP request is unauthorized with client authentication scheme 'Negotiate'. The authentication header received from the server was Negotiate NTLM is received when you configure the CRM Connector for Microsoft Dynamics SL.

Cause

When completing the Microsoft Dynamics SL Settings on the Edit Default Settings for Adaptors page, the user enters Domain\Username in the User Name field.

Resolution

Enter only the username in the User Name field. The Domain should have already been entered in the Domain field.
