When you process a Work Order in Production Completion in Microsoft Dynamics SL 2011, and the Automatic Batch Reports option is selected, you receive "System Message 6201 Report Execution Failed"

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario in Work Order in Microsoft Dynamics SL 2011:

  • You open GL Setup (01.950.00), and you select Automatic Batch Reports.
  • You open Work Order Setup (12.950.00), and under Print GL Batch Reports, you select Completions.
  • You open Work Order Entry (12.250.00), and then you create and release a Work Order.
  • You open Production Completion (12.402.00), you select the Work Order that you just released, and then you click Begin Processing.

When you do this, you receive the following error:
System Message 6201

Report Execution Failed. Error 56018: Error in report Error Filling dataset

Incorrect syntax near '.'.. Set Database Location Error Filling dataset
