The Advanced Payroll Batch Release (58.400.00) process crashes when you released a batch that comes from Service Dispatch that contains multiple lines

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario in Advanced Payroll in Microsoft Dynamics SL 2011:

  • You set Payroll Interface to "Adv Payroll" in Service Series Setup Maintenance (SD.000.00).
  • You set Use Pay Rate from to "Payroll" in Service Series Setup Maintenance (SD.000.00).
  • You enter a Service Call in Service Call Entry (SD.200.00).
  • You click the Invoice button and enter invoice information in Invoice Entry (SD.202.00).
  • You click the Details button and enter a detail in Invoice - T & M Details (SD.203.00).
  • You run the Generate Payroll Process (SD.302.00).
  • You run Release Adv PR Batches (58.400.00).

When you do this, you notice that the batch release process crashes.

Resolution
