EXECUTE permission was denied error message when using the Microsoft Dynamics SL Toolbar in Microsoft Project

Symptom

When you open Microsoft Project you receive the following message:

The EXECUTE permission was denied on the object 'PJCONTRL_SPK0', database '%s', schmea 'dbo'.

Cause

The MSDSLMSP application role is missing or does not have execute permission on pjcontrl_spk0.

Resolution

Run the synchronize ownership and security in Microsoft Dynamics SL Database Maintenance.  

1. Open Microsoft Dynamics SL Database Maintenance and login.
2. On the Update Databases tab, select the Syncronize All Ownership and Security scenario.  
3. Click Update Database.
