The IHTMLEventObj::put_keyCode function does not work in Internet Explorer 9 Standards mode

Symptoms

You have an object that uses the IHTMLEventObj::put_keyCode�function. When you use the object in Internet Explorer 9 Standards mode, the object does not work as documented. In this case, you see the return value is�S_OK. Additionally, the key is not displayed in the input field as expected.

Note The object works as expected in Internet Explorer 6, Internet Explorer 7, and Internet Explorer 8 environments.
