Introduction

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

  • You have a chart that shows the data labels in an Excel 2007 worksheet. You use the <Datalabel>.Characters.Text method to update the text in the data label of the first category. In this situation, the text is not updated as expected.
  • Error bars are shown incorrectly outside the plot area of some Excel charts.
  • Assume that you install the hotfix package that is mentioned in Microsoft Knowledge Base (KB) article 978400. When you insert a large image in an Excel 2007 worksheet, the image displays unclear.
  • You have a chart that contains lots of data points in an Excel 2007 worksheet. For example, there are 5000 data points in the chart. When you move the mouse over some data points, the data labels for the data points may display incorrect information.
  • When you resize the contour chart in Excel 2007, the colors in the contour chart may change unexpectedly.
  • Assume that a chart from an Excel 2007 workbook is linked to a data source in another Excel 2007 workbook. When you break the link by using the Break Links command, the chart becomes blank.
  • You have a 2-D chart that contains two data series in an Excel 2007 workbook. When you plot one of the data series to a secondary axis, the label of the primary axis (x-axis) displays incorrectly.
