Introduction

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

  • In the Dutch version of Excel 2007, the NHW2 function does not work. In the German version of Excel 2007, the ZW2 function does not work.

    Note
The NHW2 function is the equivalent of the XNPV function in the English version of Excel.
  • You try to print an Excel 2007 workbook that contains a check box and an option button. However, the rectangular border of the check box and the circular border of the option button do not print. This issue occurs if the page that you want to print contains no other text and the page number is not less than 1.
  • Consider the following scenario:
    • An Excel icon represents an inserted Excel 2007 object in an Excel 2007 workbook.
    • You double-click the icon to edit the contents of the object.
    • You try to save the changes to the workbook.
In this situation, the Excel icon is blank. Additionally, the label of the icon is missing.
  • The OpenType fonts are displayed as TrueType icons incorrectly in the Font list.
  • Consider the following scenario. User A makes changes to an Excel 2007 workbook that is located in a shared folder, and then disconnects from the shared folder. Then, user B makes changes to the same workbook. User A reconnects to the shared folder. In this scenario, user A receives no warning dialog box that the workbook has been updated. When this issue occurs, the changes that user B made will be overwritten by user A if user A saves the changes to the workbook.
  • ActiveX objects that have windows are not hidden in Excel 2007. This problem occurs whenever a user is in the formula edit mode, and the user switches between worksheets.
  • You have an Excel 2007 workbook that contains an ActiveX object. When you try to insert the Excel 2007 workbook as an object in another Office application, such as Word 2007, the insert operation fails.
