Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2010 crashes when you try to type any text

Symptoms

When you do any operation on Microsoft Office PowerPoint, such as typing any text, the application crashes.
This problem occurs if you are using a MAC computer that is running Windows 7.

Resolution

Method 1 To resolve this problem, follow these steps:
  1. Click Start, click Control Pannel.
  2. Click Clock, Language, and Region, click Change keyboards or other input methods.
  3. Click Change keyboards
  4. Click Add.
  5. Scroll down to "English (United States)" and expand it
  6. Click to select the US check box.
  7. Click OK.
  8. Click OK.
  9. Click OK.
  10. Verify if PowerPoint works fine now.
