Symptoms

When you try to access Microsoft Office 365 resources by using a Macintosh computer, the Office 365 resource cannot be accessed.

Cause

The following software is not supported for use together with Office 365 on a Macintosh computer:
  • Microsoft Entourage 2004 for Mac
  • Microsoft Entourage 2008, WebDAV edition (version 11, or a later version)
  • Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac
  • Microsoft Messenger for Mac 7
  • Microsoft Communicator for Mac
  • Single sign-on and identity federation with Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS)

Resolution

To resolve this issue, you must use supported applications to access Office 365 resources by using a Macintosh computer. For a complete list of support applications, visit the following Microsoft website:
