Symptoms

When you attempt to save a background image by using a FrontPage 98 client to a FrontPage 2000 server, the image is not correctly published to the FrontPage 2000 server.

Cause

This problem occurs when the FrontPage 98 client edits a Web page and sets the theme to Use Theme From Current Web. If the FrontPage 2000 default theme is set to This Web Does Not Use Themes, this problem can occur.

Status

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was corrected in Microsoft Office 2000 SR-1/SR-1a.
