XL2000: "Couldn't Open the OLAP Cube Wizard" Error Starting OLAP Cube Wizard

Symptoms

When you click Create OLAP Cube on the File menu in Microsoft Query, or you click Create an OLAP Cube from this query in the Query Wizard - Finish dialog box, you receive the following error message:
Couldn't open the OLAP Cube Wizard.

Cause

This problem occurs when you have installed Microsoft Excel 2000 by installing one of the following programs:
Microsoft Excel 2000 (stand-alone version)
Microsoft Office 2000 Small Business

Resolution

To work around this problem, follow these steps:
1.Insert the CD-ROM that you used to install Excel 2000 (Excel stand-alone version or Office 2000 Small Business) into your CD-ROM drive.
2.Copy the following file from the \Pfiles\Msoffice\Office folder on your CD-ROM to the C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office folder on your hard disk:
Msowcw.dll
3.Copy the following file from the \Pfiles\Msoffice\Office\1033 folder on your CD-ROM to the C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\1033 folder on your hard disk:
Msowcwi.dll
4.Click Start, and then click Run. Type Regsvr32 "C:\program files\microsoft office\office\msowcw.dll" and then click OK.

Click OK in the message indicating that the operation succeeded.

NOTE: If you receive an error message indicating that Regsvr32.exe was not found, then you need to download and install Regsvr32.exe. For additional information about obtaining Regsvr32.exe, please see the following article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

5.Click Start, and then click Run. Type Regsvr32 "C:\program files\microsoft office\office\1033\msowcwi.dll" and then click OK.

Click OK in the message indicating that the operation succeeded.
