Symptoms

After you enable protocol logging for POP3�or protocol logging�for IMAP4 on a Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 server, the�Microsoft.Exchange.POP3.exe process or the Microsoft.Exchange.Imap4.exe process may crash. Additionally, the following event is logged in the Application log:


Event Type: Error
Event Source: MSExchange Common
Event Category: (1)
Event ID: 4999
Description:
Watson report about to be sent to dw20.exe for process id: <ID> , with parameters: E12, c-buddy-RTL-AMD64, <version number> , M.E.Pop3 <or M.E.Imap4>, M.E.Diagnostics, M.E.D.Utf8Csv.WriteRawRow, <System.NullReferenceException>, <stamp>, <version number> . ErrorReportingEnabled: False.
