The Microsoft Exchange Information Store service crashes on a Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 server when you start it or try to mount certain databases. Additionally, the following events are generated in Application log:

The Microsoft Exchange Information Store encountered an unexpected exception 0xC0000005 at address <address> while processing a request for user <NETWORK SERVICE account>.

Description:

This issue occurs because a certain "bad" message is located in a user's Outbox.

To resolve this issue, install the following update rollup:�
