Known issues with this update

When you install the Japanese version of this update, you may notice that the installation dialog box contains some Japanese text and some English text.
Note this problem does not affect the functionality of the security update. This is only a problem with the appearance of the installation dialog box.

Note Update rollups for Exchange 2007 are not detected on clustered Exchange 2007 systems by Microsoft Update.

This update rollup does not apply to Exchange Server 2007 release to manufacturing (RTM) version or to Exchange 2007 Service Pack 2 (SP2). The series of update rollup packages for Exchange Server 2007 SP1 is independent of the corresponding series of update rollups for Exchange Server 2007 RTM or Exchange 2007 SP2.

Restart requirement

The required services are automatically stopped and then restarted when you apply this update rollup.

Removal information

To remove Update Rollup 10 for Exchange Server 2007 SP1, use Add or Remove Programs in Control Panel. Then, remove update 981407.
