Private bytes keep increasing when the deleteRow or deleteCell method is called in Internet Explorer

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:
  • You use Windows Internet Explorer 9, Internet Explorer 10, or Internet Explorer 11 to visit a webpage.
  • The webpage uses the deleteRow or deleteCell method to remove a row or a cell that was inserted by using the insertRow or insertCell method in an HTML table.
  • The webpage keeps repeating the previously mentioned operations.
In this scenario, the private bytes of Internet Explorer keep increasing. This may cause Internet Explorer to stop responding or to crash.
