After you install Security Update MS11-072, folder names are duplicated when you save Microsoft Office Exce workbooks over a network. This breaks the links to other (external) workbooks. When you save the file, you receive the following message:
The file <file name> may have been changed by another user since you last saved it. In that case, what do you want to do? Save a copy, Overwrite changes.
If you open the Edit Links�dialog box on a computer that has the security patch installed, Excel displays an additional copy of the share name. For example, the path to the linked file would typically be displayed as follows:
\\servername\folder\[file1.xlsx] will change to \\servername\folder\folder\[file1.xlsx
