You have to press the TAB key two times to select the “Save my password” check box after you type your password in the Lync 2010 logon screen

Symptoms

Consider the following Scenario:

You try to log on to a Microsoft Lync 2010 client.

Note You never saved your user name and password on this Lync 2010 client before.
You type your password in the Password field, and then you press the TAB key to select the Save my password check box.

In this scenario, you expect the Save my password check box to be selected. However, you have to press the TAB key two times to select this checkbox.

To resolve this issue, install the following cumulative update:
