FIX: Tracking information unavailable for MessageContextPropertyBase promoted properties within Orchestrations when received from Flat File Disassembler in BizTalk Server 2006 R2 SP1

Consider the following scenario:

• On a computer that is running Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 R2 Service Pack 1 (SP1), you create a BizTalk receive port to receive incoming messages.�
• You create a receive location for the receive port. The receive location uses a receive pipeline that contains the Flat File Disassembler pipeline component.
• You enable message property tracking options for the receive port to track context properties.
• You are promoting MessageContextPropertyBase type properties.
• An XmlDocument message arrives at the receive location�and is later processed in an orchestration which uses this promoted property.

In this scenario, the MessageContextPropertyBase promoted properties are not tracked although the message is successfully received and processed. Therefore, you cannot find the tracking information in the BizTalk tracking database (BizTalkDTADb).

This issue occurs because of an error with MessageContextPropertyBase promoted properties in the orchestration engine in BizTalk Server.

The hotfix that resolves this problem is included in cumulative update package 2 for BizTalk Server 2006 R2 SP1.
