To work around this issue, use the
Print Preview Full Screen command. To do this, add the command to the Quick Access Toolbar or to a ribbon.
Method 1: Quick Access Toolbar
The Quick Access Toolbar is located on the left side of the Excel title bar. By default, the Quick Access Toolbar contains the following commands:
To add the
Print Preview Full Screen command to the Quick Access Toolbar, use one of the following methods.
- Do one of the following:
- Click the DOWN ARROW on the Quick Access Toolbar, and then click More Commands.
- Click the File tab, click Options, and then click Quick Access Toolbar.
- In the Choose commands from box, click All Commands.
- In the list of commands, click Print Preview Full Screen, and then click Add.
- Click OK.
Method 2: Ribbon
To add the
Print Preview Full Screen command to a ribbon, follow these steps.
Note In these steps, we add the
Print Preview Full Screen command to a new tab.
- Do one of the following:
- Right-click in a blank area of the ribbon, and then click Customize the Ribbon.
- Click the File tab, click Options, and then click Customize Ribbon.
- Click New Tab.
- Right-click New Tab (Custom), and then click Rename.
- Type Print, and then click OK.
- Under Print (Custom), right-click New Group (Custom), and then click Rename.
- Type Print Preview, and then click OK.
- In the Choose commands from box, click All Commands.
- In the list of commands, click Print Preview Full Screen, and then click Add.
Note Make sure that the custom print preview that you created in step 6 is selected before you click Add. - Click OK.
