You open a dialog box on a webpage in Internet Explorer 8. When you click the dialog box, an event that belongs to the webpage is triggered unexpectedly. This problem occurs when a button on the webpage is under the position that you clicked.

Steps to reproduce the problem

1. In Internet Explorer 8, open a Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 website.
2. Click Site Actions, and then click New Site.
3. Click Charitable Contributions Web.
4. In the Title box, type a title for the site.
5. In the URL name box, type a URL name for the site, and then click Create.
6. Click a button on a tab on the new site to open a dialog box. For example, click New Donor on the Donors tab.
7. A dialog box appears, and the rest of the browser becomes unavailable. In the previous example, the Donor Details dialog box appears.
8. Click the dialog box. If there is a button under the position that you clicked, the event of the button is triggered.
